Empowering young people through horticulture and poultry farming in urban areas
The “Autonomisation des jeunes à travers l’horticulture et l’aviculture en milieu urbain” project is an urban agriculture project that will support 10 young people from Toujounine in their socio-professional integration project. Firstly, it will strengthen their agricultural skills by training them in horticulture and poultry farming techniques, and in methods for processing market garden produce into poultry feed. It will also strengthen their entrepreneurial capacities and soft skills through training courses in these areas. Finally, it will support them in the creation of economic interest groups that will enable them to pool their resources and promote collaboration and the structuring of their activity. At the end of the project, its achievements and success stories will be showcased with a view to extending the experience to other young people.
